Frequently asked questions
Finding us
Where is Bar CDMX located?
We are in the basement at 515 W 7th St, Los Angeles, CA 90014. Look for the stairs going down — we are below Seven Grand. The nearest Metro stop is Pershing Square (lines A and E).
What are your hours?
We are open every night from 5pm to 2am. Last call is at 1:30am.
Is there parking available?
Street parking in this area can be difficult, especially on weekends. Several paid lots are within one block, usually around $10. We recommend taking the Metro or rideshare when possible.
Getting in
Is there a cover charge?
There is no cover charge most nights. On busy weekend nights, there may be a wait at the door due to capacity limits. Arriving before 9pm is the best way to skip the line.

-
Athletic wear (including sweatpants and gym shorts)
-
Sports jerseys — except on local game days

Food & drinks
Do you serve food?
We do not have a kitchen. A taco vendor sets up outside our front door most nights starting around 6pm. You are welcome to bring food inside.
Do you have a happy hour?
Yes. Happy hour runs every weekday from 5pm to 8pm.
What drinks are you known for?
We are known for our mezcal and tequila program. Our most popular drink is the Mango Mezcal Margarita. Most cocktails are $9–$13. View our full menu here.
Inside the bar
What games and entertainment do you have?
We have a pool table ($2 per game, Apple Pay accepted), classic arcade machines, a photo booth, and pinball.
What kind of music do you play?
We play rock en español, cumbia, corridos, and classics from Mexico City. It gets loud as the night goes on. If you want to have a conversation, we recommend arriving earlier in the evening.
Is it good for groups?
Yes. We have booth seating along the walls that works well for larger groups. For smaller groups of 2–4, arriving early on weekends gives you the best chance of finding a good spot.
